Trinity School maintains a hot lunch program for all pupils and staff. Prices and payment policies are detailed
in the Trinity Student Handbook.
Free and reduced priced lunches are available as ours is a Federal Hot Lunch Program. Parents requesting free or
reduced price meals must complete the necessary forms stating their financial status. The principal receives these
requests and acts upon them according to the guidelines provided by the proper authorities. Pupils qualifying for
free or reduced price meals are given their meals in the same manner as all others and no mention is ever made
concerning these matters. Contact the school office should you need more information regarding the free and reduced
price lunch program.
In any event, no child will ever be deprived of a meal for lack of funds, but we do expect the meal ticket payments
to be kept current. All pupils receive instruction in proper lunchroom conduct including table prayers, manners
and behavior while going to and coming from the dining area.
Parents should feel free to have lunch at the school with their child(ren). Notify the office if you plan to purchase
a lunch at least one day prior to your visit. No notification is necessary if parents bring their lunch with them
from outside the school. If parents choose to bring a special lunch or treat at lunchtime to a child, we ask that
this be provided only to your child or to all students in his/her class. Students bringing their own packed lunch
are asked not to bring soda pop.
