Mrs. Gibson's Fifth & Sixth Grade Class
About Mrs. Gibson
I’m Mrs. Gibson. I grew up on a farm in Iowa, with three sisters and a brother. I attended the University
of Iowa and received my degree in elementary education. I moved to Texas in 1984, and this is where I met my husband,
Bill. He was from Ohio and that is how I came to live in Marysville.
We have lived in Ohio for most of the last 20 years. We have four children, who have all attended Trinity Lutheran
School from Pre-K to sixth grade. We live out in the country where our dog, Sparky, can chase the raccoons and
squirrels. We also have a cat, Allie, who was born on our porch when we lived in town.
I have been teaching at Trinity Lutheran School for about seven years. Part of that time was as an aid in the
first and second grades.
Fifth and sixth grade math and science are the areas that I teach. I really love building the confidence in students,
especially those who are willing to work with me toward a goal. One of the great accomplishments for my students
is the completion and presentation of their projects for science fair.
These are years of tremendous growth and development. I enjoy participating in the journey of early adolescence.
I also enjoy reading, walking, baking, and watching my kids as they participate in their activities. |
